The property shows the breadth of the great pond to the north plus Chilmark’s Wequobsque Cliffs to the west. Access by canoe and kayak only — which visitors must supply. Private beaches are adjacent: Boundary signs indicate limits of public use.

Canoes or kayaks launched at town landing on Turkeyland Neck. Take Road to the Plains to Meetinghouse Road. Turn right and go 2/10 of a mile; turn left and follow the dirt road to the Great Pond. The beach is 1.1 miles across the pond. Land only on the marked Land Bank beach.
