Estero Bluffs State Park is located to the north of the town of Cayucos and offers beautiful coastal trails, with sea stacks and intertidal areas, a substantial area of wetlands, low bluffs and coastal terraces punctuated by a number of perennial and intermittent streams.
The park's rich ecological diversity provides habitat for a number of endangered species, including the snowy plover a small shore bird which nests along the sandy shoreline from March - September. Please observe all signs and stay out of closed areas during this important nesting season.
Dogs are permitted in the south portion of the park only. No dogs are allowed north of the San Geronimo Creek.
