Mokumanu Seabird Sanctuary is a 1-acre off the shore of Pelekunu Bay on Moloka'i. Mokumanu islet is one of six islets that is protected as a seabird sanctuary and managed by the Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW). Mokumanu Islet is inhabited by 17 plant species, 5 of which are endemic. The main seabird that inhabits Mokumanu islet is Koa'e'ula (Red-tailed Tropicbird). Due to its' status as a seabird sanctuary, Mokumanu Islet is closed to the public.
