A marked trail leads through old field white pine, spruce and various hardwoods including beech and red oak. Much of this property was once former pastureland as observed by stonewalls and juniper bushes now increasingly being shaded out by overstory trees. Numerous vernal pools and seeps as well as perennial streams dot and line the landscape providing a rich diversity of plants and animals. At the height of land is a cabin which is on the adjacent private property. Please respect this area. From the cabin you can stand at the highest point in Wolfeboro and take in a picturesque view of Lake Winnipesaukee.
