Morro Bay State Park features estuary and natural bay habitat. The bay's most prominent landmark is Morro Rock. The park has opportunities for sailing, fishing, hiking, and bird watching. The park also has a campground, marina and an 18-hole public golf course.
The Morro Bay Museum of Natural History is open daily from 10am-5pm includes interactive exhibits featuring natural and cultural history, geology, and oceanography. Admission for the museum is $3 for adults; kids 17yrs old and younger are free.
