Ripley’s Field Preserve is a history of the glaciers; differences of up to 70 feet in elevation are found among this property’s many valleys and hills. Trails connect to the Blackwater Pond Reservation and Tisbury Meadow Preserve.

From the lower end of Lambert’s Cove Road (in Tisbury), turn left 0.7 miles up the road onto the John Hoft Road and left again a few hundred feet later into the preserve. The trailhead and a bicycle rack are here.
