The 90 forested acres of West Chop Woods are found less than a mile and a half from downtown Vineyard Haven. The old Lighthouse Road and other trails offer loops of varying lengths.

Entrances on Main Street about 1 ¼ miles from Vineyard Haven and on Franklin Street. Parking for 2-3 cars down a narrow dirt road about ¾ of a mile past the intersection of Greenwood and Franklin Streets.
