Winslow Sports Complex (36.5 acres) is located at 2801 S Highland Ave. just south of the YMCA, and east of Winslow Woods Park and Willie Streeter Community Gardens, the 40-acre Winslow Sports Complex is a summer haven of activity for youth baseball and softball, adult and youth tennis, and fitness and exercise for all ages.
Baseball/Softball Fields: Winslow Sports Complex has four 200' fenced fields with lights and two senior baseball fields with lights. For reservation information, contact Dee Tuttle at 812.349.3762 or tuttled@bloomington.in.gov.
Hitting Tunnels: Bloomington Parks and Recreation constructed four hitting tunnels at Winslow Sports Complex in 2018. inside the fenced "junior side" softball fields on the north side of the Complex. The tunnels are free to use, and are available for use by the public when they are not being used by the Bloomington Junior League Baseball Association and Monroe County Senior League Baseball Association. The hitting tunnels are open for use only when the ballfields are open for games or practices. The hitting tunnels are not open when the fields are not being used. Trail: A paved, one-mile trail circles the developed area of the park. Fitness stations are located along the trail near the park's entrance.
Parking Areas: Parking lot located off South Highland Avenue; additional parking west of South Highland Avenue at Winslow Woods Park
Restrooms: Modern restrooms inside fenced ballfield areas, open seasonally when fields are in play
Playground: One accessible playground in fenced ballfield area
Tennis: Six tennis courts. Public play is permitted whenever courts are not being used by Bloomington Parks and Recreation. Available hours are posted on site.
