If you accidentally brush againstthis native year-round bloomer, most can expect to feel some mild stinging inthe localized area that usually goes away within the hour. It should be notedthat some individuals have a more severe reaction, so use caution if you planto include this plant in a native wildflower garden. When seeing it in itsnatural habitat, it is best admired from a distance or through a camera lens.
