The Jim Creek Canoe Route is a great way to get out on the water on hot summer days! A full-day paddle will take canoers from the put-in at Mud Lake all the way to the Knik River, but any section along the route offers spectacular scenery, bird watching and recreation. 

Wednesdays make for an especially good day on the water, as the nearby Kenny and Patti Barber Shooting Range is closed.
