Join Volunteer Naturalist Ann Keenan for an easy walk up a wash through an intriguing, remote canyon to a spring. Look for signs of ancient inhabitants and more recent ones, wildflowers and animal tracks. Meet at the parking area at the mouth of Plum Canyon, 2.7 miles west of S3 on Highway 78. Wear sturdy shoes, hat and layers for cool temperatures. Bring water/snacks. Sign up in advance at the visitor center or call 760-767-4205. Limit 10.
