Where: Doane Pond Parking Lot
When: 9 a.m. (2 hours)
Join us for a hike to the historic Weir site. This hike features dense shady forest, the nearby Pauma Creek, fantastic views of Lower Doane Meadow, and of course, the Weir itself. This is a 2-mile hike, out and back, with moderate elevation gain of about 200 feet on the way back. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water!
Suitable for all ages, persons with low mobility and children may find sections of trial difficult.
Parking fee costs $10. Park and meet at Doane Pond parking lot.
