Join a park district naturalist and take a leisurely hike at Garbry Big Woods to discover what fall wildflowers are in bloom. During this time of social distancing, we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to get outside and enjoy nature to decrease the stress of these unsure times we are experiencing. If you are already familiar with our programs you will notice changes due to social distancing requirements and recommendations. The health and safety of our park visitors and MCPD staff is our top priority. For this reason, MCPD staff will be wearing masks when six feet of social distance is not feasible. As a precaution we recommend that program attendees wear masks as well and stay six feet apart if possible.
