Please join us to formally dedicate Switchyard Park!
Bloomington Parks and Recreation presents the official dedication event for Switchyard Park on Friday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bosque, just east of the Switchyard Park Pavilion.
Special guests include:
- Mayor John Hamilton
- Kathleen Mills, President of the Board of Park Commissioners
- Kevin Osburn, Partner at Rundell Ernstberger Associates
- Mick Renneisen, former Deputy Mayor
- Dave Williams, former Parks and Recreation Operations and Development Director
- and representatives of Weddle Brothers Construction and the Bloomington Redevelopment Commission.
Program begins at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to the unveiling of the Switchyard Park dedication element outside the Switchyard Park Pavilion immediately following guest speakers.
The Switchyard Park dedication takes place in conjunction with Food Truck Friday. Parking is available in the Rogers Street parking lot, the Grimes Lane parking lot, and the Walnut Street parking lot. Ample bike parking is available north of the Switchyard Park Pavilion.
