Join Park Interpretive Specialist Regina Reiter for a family walk in washes and slot canyons of Truckhaven Rocks in a surprisingly remote area hidden from the road. Hat, water and sturdy shoes are required. Kids 7-12 will earn their Junior Ranger badge. Meet at the half-circle parking area at mile marker 36.2 on highway S22 heading east to the Salton Sea. Sign up at the visitor center before 1 p.m. on walk day. Call 760-767-4205. Limit 16 hikers.
