Here in New Hampshire, we are so very fortunate to have such incredible habitat and protected open spaces, right in our own back yards. Often times folks don’t even realize how many amazing outdoor opportunities are right next door, so we wanted to highlight some of our favorite Forest Society gems.
This hike is at our beloved Powder Major Forests Preserve in Madbury, NH. We have heard so many times, while out walking with our community, that folks had no idea that this beautiful nature preserve was here, and so accessible. On this family friendly hike, we will take an introductory walk through the Powder Major Forest and explore all of the wonderful things it has to offer.
Be sure to dress appropriately and wear sturdy weatherproof shoes. Bring a camera, some snacks, some water and your sense of adventure.
