Join Napa RCD in their efforts to care for Napa’s oak woodlands! They planted a LOT of acorns this winter, and it’s time to help them make it through the summer!
Volunteers are needed to:
- Create paths through tall grasses and weeds
- Weed around oak plantings
- Spread mulch
- Repair protection around plantings
Tips for fun and safety:Dress for gardening, and be prepared to walk through thick grass- thick pants, tall socks, and sturdy shoes keep you comfortable and safeBYO filled water bottle and snacks
WHERE TO MEET: From either parking lot, go uphill and look for directional signs and a blue tent.
