With the holiday season approaching quickly, there’s no better place to score great deals on outdoor gear and apparel! Partake as a shopper or a vendor & gear up for some fun.
IU Outdoor Adventure’s Annual Gear Swap is back! Every year, we sell a handful of used gear items from our rental fleet and also welcome in members of the community to sell or trade their own new or pre-owned outdoor equipment.
This is a fantastic way to get great gear for low prices. You simply never know what you’ll find. Come in, browse, and shop, and/or sign up for a table to sell your gear. This year, IUOA will feature a flat 20% retail discount and - bonus! - free Bouldering from 10-Noon.
Looking to sell? Great! Email Hannah McConnell at hmmcconn@iu.edu by Wednesday December 6th to reserve your spot. The fee for setting up a table is $10 payable the morning of the event OR a comparable donation to our used gear library. (Our used gear library is a collection of clothing that we let students and participants use on classes and trips. Our aim is to make the outdoors more accessible by removing a burden of outdoor clothing expense from individuals).
The fee will reserve you 1 table measuring approximately 2’x5’. If you feel that you’ll need more space, please note this in your email. There will not be an additional fee for more than one table.
