Practice the proper techniques for controlling the speed and direction of a canoe or kayak during this class on Griffy Lake. We will discuss proper paddling techniques and water safety; we might even stage a race across the lake! This program is designed for the boating novice who is looking to learn confidence on the water. 

Participants ages 14 yrs. and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult. Life jackets are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. 

Participants will meet at the Griffy Lake Boathouse. Use of face masks is required during check-in and launching process. 

For ALL ages. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by a registered adult. $8/Bloomington residents, $10/out-of-city residents.
