Join our Roving Naturalist for a FREE pop-up program at Leonard Springs Nature Park as we watch the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. Under the beautiful night sky, away from city light pollution, we have the greatest chance of seeing this magnificent celestial event at its best and brightest!Participants will meet at the Leonard Springs Parking Lot and then walk to the Picnic Area to view the meteor shower.This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather. Telescopes and restrooms will be made available. FREE program for ALL ages. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
