Discover a beautiful area of the Dougherty Valley on this moderate, 2.35-mile hike with the City of San Ramon’s Open Space Advisory Committee. Starting at Red Willow Park, the hike will take participants on the Red Willow Loop Trail to the Star Jasmine Trail, eventually connecting to Monarch Ridge Trail, looping around Hidden Crest Park, and back along Dougherty Road to Red Willow Park. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about San Ramon’s trails, open space, and the Open Space Advisory Committee throughout the hike. The path is partially paved and partially in open space, so please be advised to wear appropriate footwear and walking attire. The walk is free; however pre-registration is required.
