For more than 60 years, Five Rivers MetroParks has been connecting people with nature. Protecting open space and natural areas is at the heart of the mission of MetroParks, which protects more than 16,000 acres of forests, grasslands, farmlands and wetlands. Conservation efforts focus on river corridors and areas surrounding our parks, preserving habitat on the largest scale possible so that wildlife, flora and fauna have better places to live and thrive, while encouraging residents of the Dayton region to live healthy, active and outdoor lifestyles.
