This history outing lets you follow along as you travel from Cold Lake to Bonnyville and understand a bit more about the development of the country you pass through. It examines the early history of Cold Lake, the beginnings of Grand Centre, the development of CFB Cold Lake, the building of the Beaver River Trestle as well as later events like the start of the Iron Horse Trail and what happened with some of the water pipelines and the growth of communities along the trail.
