Stuck in the past? The Woodside Store served the gold miners and lumberjacks coming into the San Francisco Bay in the early 1850s. The store was a little of everything: a general store, a dentist, a post office, even a library! Matthais Alfred Parkhurst and Dr. Robert Orville Tripp started the store, but after Parkhurst died in 1863, Dr. Tripp kept the store going until 1909!
