The landscape surrounding  the former amusement park footbridge has been altered since the days of the "Argonne." The bridge span began just upstream from the pool and extended across the creek onto a hillside that once laid directly across. Over the years, development of businesses and roadways have "rearranged" the hillside into its current form.
