Welcome to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park! An abundance of plants and animals call this park their home. California State Parks is proud to preserve the biodiversity found here for today’s visitors and future generations.
We would like to thank the Kumeyaay for protecting and nurturing the flora and fauna of Ah-ha’ Kwe-ah-mac’ (Cuyamaca) for thousands of years. The Kumeyaay were the first people of the land and are the current stewards of generations of ancestral knowledge of regional biodiversity.
Let’s learn about biodiversity with Agent Kestrel! You can join with the Kumeyaay and become stewards of the land and help protect the park.
