Welcome to the new state-of-the-art entrance to Castle Rock State Park! As of 8/1/2019, the Kirkwood Entrance is the primary day use lot for accessing Castle Rock. The Overflow Lot (new name for the old dirt lot) is available for overnight campers, and will be opened when the Kirkwood Entrance lot fills up.

Parking at both the Kirkwood Entrance and Overflow Lot is $10/ day. You can pay at the automatic payment machines or with a visitor service aid at the kiosk.
