This cozy Pan-Abode style cabin was originally built by the Forest Service in 1969. It sits on a rocky bluff overlooking the protected waters of Grindall Passage. Adjacent to the cabin is a protected cove with an unmaintained mooring buoy for marine access. Historically Grindall Island was used for fox farming before it became a recreation site.
