The oldest of the three lakes in Mill Creek Park, Lake Cohasset was created upon the completion of Lake Cohasset Dam, a 23' high structure constructed with stone cut from the park quarry. The water flows over a series of twelve heavy sandstone steps. Though boating is not permitted, visitors can enjoy fishing and hike the nearby East and West Cohasset trails.
