Larison Cove is about 1 1/2 miles long and 300 yards wide. This short distance makes the paddle ideal for families with small children. These sites are isolated from the main reservoir and roads giving the user a feeling of peace and quiet while visiting the area.
Canoe-accessed dispersed camping is allowed in the cove. No overnight camping allowed in the parking lot. This dispersed camping area has 4 tent only sites with fire rings and a boat dock. There are no toilets and no potable water.
Located on the opposite shore (north) is the trailhead for Larison Creek Trail. This scenic trail follows the cove and Larison Creek for approximately 6 miles.
