Check-in station is a constructed mailbox located on a gravel parking lot just off the Pali Highway, heading towards windward side of Oahu (Eastern) under ironwood tree stand, where Pali Highway and Old Pali Road meet. Entrance to the other PHA section is across the highway through a chain link gate. Hunter must sign in/out at the check station provided no matter what side they choose to hunt. The Hunting Rules and PHA Map signage are located near the check station site and an access trail leading to the start of the PHA. QR Codes and sign in sheets and pens are provided for this station to check in and out.
