The Paseo del Nordeste Recreation Trail traverses a series of northeastern neighborhoods in Albuquerque as it travels along the Hahn Arroyo. The trail runs west and east, so the ride out will be slightly downhill as you travel away from the mountains and the return will have a gradual ascent as you head back toward the Sandias. From the trailhead, begin riding west on the paved trail.
