Welcome to the Dog Park!
- Use park at own risk. You are liable for your own dog. The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation assumes no liability for injuries in this non-supervised facility. (Indiana Code 34-13-3-3)
- The Dog Park is for dogs and dog owners only. No skateboards, bicycles, or similar wheeled vehicles.
- Owners are expected to comply with all ordinances, regulations, and laws governing dogs.
- Dogs must be spayed/neutered to enter the dog park.
- Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, bordatella, and distemper/parovirus combo vaccines.
- Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the dog park.
- Dogs only. Other types of animals are prohibited.
- Maximum of two dogs per individual.
- Dogs should not be left unattended. Owners must remain in control and in sight of their dogs at all times.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Aggressive dogs, sick dogs, dogs in heat, or puppies under four months of age are not allowed.
- Food (dog or human) other than training treats are prohibited.
- Dog toys other than tennis balls are prohibited.
- Glass containers, alcoholic beverages, and smoking are prohibited.
- Please fill in any holes that your dog might dig.
