Welcome to the Skatepark!
- Skate at your own risk. The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation assumes no liability for injuries in this non-supervised facility. (Indiana Code 34-13-3-3)
- ONLY skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes with plastic pegs may be used at the skatepark. Use of scooters and other wheeled devices is prohibited.
- The use of protective gear including helmets, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards is strongly recommended.
- Competitive and/or demonstration events and product vending require prior approval of the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department.
- Spectators must remain outside skating area.
- Movable obstacles or materials (e.g. ramps) are prohibited.
- The following are not permitted at the skatepark:
- Profanity
- Food, glass containers, smoking, and alcoholic beverages
- Amplified music
- Tagging and graffiti
- Stickers and decals
- Other advertising, including but not limited to posters, fliers, banners, and yard signs.
If necessary, the skatepark will close until graffiti, tags, and decals/signs are removed or repaired.
