Built in the 1930's during the Great Depression's Work Progress Administration. The stadium can seat 26,500 people. Local high schools and colleges use the facility regularly, while major events happen every now and then, such as The Beatles' concert in 1964, the US Olympic Track & Field Trials in 1992, and the U.S. women's soccer team vs. Brazil in 2003.
