Located within the Botanical Garden.
"The Helis Foundation Enrique Alférez Sculpture Garden" is a collection of Enrique Alférez sculptures in bronze, cast stone, and metal. Alférez created sculptures in New Orleans City Park and the New Orleans Botanical Garden from the 1930s until the late 1990s. The garden was designed and built in 2015 by landscape architect, Robin Tanner. His design was influenced by the restraint of Zen aesthetics, while at the same time allowing the form of the Alférez sculptures to influence the curves that repeat throughout the garden. The plant pallet for the garden is limited and is used to support, not distract from, the sculptures.
