The Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River pauses at Toketee Lake, providing a home for a wide variety of wildlife. Here beaver and otter make their homes. Great blue heron and kingfishers are joined in fall and winter by ducks, geese, and bald eagle. This campground is popular for anglers and year-round visitors to the Umpqua National Forest. Toketee Lake is a reservoir because of a dam; expect to see change in water levels.
