From May 1st to September 30th, visitors can explore the 3-mile Wetland Trail that follows gravel service roads around the Refuge's wetlands. The open views along this trail are a great opportunity to spot waterfowl, great blue heron, eagles, hawks, osprey, and the occasional deer and other small mammals.
