The trail is most easily reached from WV28/US33 north of the village of Circleville WV and Judy Gap. Just north of Judy Gap on WV28/US33 turn onto Briery Gap Rd (Pen 33/4), following the signs for Spruce Knob. Follow Briery Gap to forest road 112 and follow forest road 112 to forest road 104. Forest road 104 ends at Spruce Knob.
