The Visitor Center is the perfect place to begin your Refuge experience. With an exhibit hall, classroom, photo gallery, nature store, and community room, we have everything you need to make every visit a memorable one. The Visitor Center is staffed by friendly volunteers who know the Refuge well and can help make your experience a great one. And last, but not least, this is a great place to visit the restroom before you head out on the trail (there are no restrooms along the trail).

The Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm. It's also closed on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
