The Blueberry Knoll Trail is a will trafficked 1.5 mile trail that climbs 1500 ft up to a fantastic viewpoint with a picnic table  where one can look out over the Matanuska Valley.  This trail can be quite steep in places and become very slippery during wet conditions.  The Blueberry Knoll Primitive trail splits off just below the top viewpoint and continues up the ridge to the summit of Government Peak.

Please be advised that stinging nettles are present in this area during the mid to late summer - long pants are recommended.
