Backbone Trail - Topanga Ridge Motorway is a very short section of the Backbone Trail that connects Backbone Trail - Fossil Ridge with Backbone Trail - Saddle Peak Trails.

Backbone Trail - Topanga Ridge Motorway can be accessed from the Lois Ewen Overlook Staging Area via Fossil Ridge Trail. From the 101, exit and head south on Las Virgenes Rd. Turn left onto Mulholland Hwy. After 4 miles turn right onto Stunt Rd. Staging area will be on the left after 4 miles.
