From Mulholland Drive, the trail leads along the eastern face of the hillside, staying relatively flat until the end where it climbs up to meet Fire Road Thirty. Follow Fire Road Thirty to connect back to Mulholland Drive (after approximately 0.6 miles), creating a great loop trail for hikers who do not want to return on the same route.

Bent Arrow Trail can be accessed from the staging area at the end of Reseda Boulevard in Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park via Mulholland Drive (fire road). From the 101, exit at Reseda Boulevard in Encino and head south. Turn left to stay on Reseda Boulevard and travel 3.5 miles to the end. Parking will be on the right before the roundabout. Follow fire road past gate to trail.
