Driving the Glenn Highway past Sheep Mountain it is nearly impossible to miss the large hill rising from the broad valley, capped with an AT&T antenna array. What many miss, however, is the family-friendly recreation opportunities available at this site. Camping, boating, bicycle and ATV riding, hiking, and berrypicking are all possible from this area, also known as Knob Hill. The Blueberry Hill Trail is a well maintained gravel road from the base of Knob Hill to the top where the AT&T tower is.
Turn South onto Alascom Access Road around mile 118. There are several smaller pullouts and campsites along the road, as well as two larger gravel pullouts where the road crosses Trail Creek.
