Trail No 1 begins at the parking lot/trailhead off of Middle Road and goes south, ending at the southern part of the field as it connects with Trail No 4.  There is a connecting path to the east off of this trail, leading to Ocean View Farm Preserve.

The trail has some rocks and roots although much of it is grassy.  And it has a lovely boardwalk and bench over the brook at its northern end, near the parking area.
