Looking for a good forest hike? The blue trail takes you to a second-growth forest. This is a slightly longer hike with steeper inclines and a few stairs. Pass through a cedar glade on your way into the mature forest. Stop at the overlook to see the glacial shelves. Springtime brings blooms of dogwood and redbud; fall color will paint the many native trees. Great for families with older children that can walk a little over a mile.
