This trail is part of the historic travel route used by Alaska Native peoples to travel between the Chickaloon, Nelchina and Knik areas in the 19th century. The multi-use trail runs east-west between King River and the Chickaloon River. There is no public trailhead but travel is permitted - please respect local residences,
