The blue trail tumbles atop the wooded bluffs high above Vineyard Sound. Connecting the white and yellow trails, the blue trail offers viewpoints from which one can view the Elizabeth Islands, blufftop meadows of heather, and groves of gnarled beetlebungs, beeches and oaks. The trail rises and falls with some steep climbs that have water breaks to use as steps. There are a couple of sandy areas and roots may present a tripping hazard.
