This easy trail loop begins and ends at Lake Drive and features some shady sections provided by clusters of black walnut trees. There is a picnic area and water fountain at the staging area on the east side of Lake Drive.

From West Hollywood head west on Sunset Boulevard. Turn right on North Alpine Drive. Slight left onto Lexington Road. Take the second right onto North Rexford Drive. Take the first right onto North Beverly Drive and turn left to stay on North Beverly Drive. Turn right onto Franklin Caynon Drive. Take the second right onto Lake Drive. After half a mile, the staging area will be on the left.
