The Dixon-Fleming Trail starts near the highest point of the Flagg-Kirkland Trail. The trail climbs through an area that was heavily logged in the past by previous owners of the property. The logged areas were decimated by the high winds of Superstorm Sandy leaving many fallen trees. The trail climbs to the top of the Delaware Rive bluffs and then descends slightly to a point where Kingwood Station Road can be seen from above. The trail continues along the edge of a steep ridge then heads west where it ends at the Axelrod Trail. The Dixon-Fleming Trail is named for the family that choose to preserve their land. The trails is marked with Green diamond blazes.
